In a far‑off fairy‑tale land, an ogre named Shrek lives happily alone in his swamp—until a crowd of displaced fairy‑tale creatures suddenly shows up on his doorstep. They’ve been banished by the tiny but tyrannical Lord Farquaad, and Shrek wants his peaceful home back. To fix the problem, he agrees to rescue Princess Fiona, who has been locked in a tower for years, guarded by a fiery (and fabulous) Dragon.
